  1. Sin this update

    1. He’s been like this with Yasha most his life lol.

  2. LMAOOO this episode was hilarious

    1. Haha! Glad to hear 😀

  3. You have to love his delusion optimism.

    1. Logistics? Spoil time? Nothing stops the great Sin!

  4. Poor Yasha’s reaction to getting hit on there was too real 😂

    1. Poor Yasha! Yeah, she is negative interested in that dude if that’s possible. Actually that goes for all dudes, she’s not into them lmao.

  5. Lol. Sin’s so blinded by jealously he can’t see being village hero isn’t all that.

  6. Sin is an asshole 💀

    1. Lmao, can’t say you’re wrong.

  7. I saw the end of Fire Force the other day and seeing Black Star reminded me of Sin lol. Also I noticed Sin mentioned Nia. Anxious to see her again in your new style

    1. Haha! Sin’s original inspiration :P. I wish I could get into Fire Force but just not my thing. Love Soul Eater though!

Another inspiration for Sin is Sakuragi from Slam Dunk, in a way Yasha is sort of like Rukawa with his fangirls in this scene lmao.

I’m excited to bring Nia back too! We will get plenty of interactions with her and Yasha soon. She had huge influence on Yasha when she was young.

  8. That tiger shot is awesome.

  9. I kinda like how egotistical Yasha and Sin are. I feel like people with powers would be assholes at least to a certain degree not paragons.

    1. I think it would go to a lot of people’s head if they had special powers for sure. Haha, to be honest I just like delinquent/unruly characters in general! I find them interesting.

Though it will be very fun to see what y’all think of certain future developments. Sin admittedly, isn’t as prominent as some of the other core characters overall. On top of that, unfortunately for Sin fans I’ve had to cut out some near upcoming scenes of him to make episode 1 shorter. But later on, he goes in some very unexpected directions character wise!

Yasha will have an advantage over Sin in terms of initially showing more depth, since she gets the most focus in this story. Yasha is very complex, she’s more just very assertive and a bit prone to losing herself to anger.

Can’t wait to show y’all her dynamic with Nia, who is someone Yasha likes a lot since Nia’s so kind and brave, but also at times, Nia checks and challenges Yasha on a lot of things and vice versa. Nia, The Chief, and Sin are the only ones bold enough on the island to do that when Yasha’s angry lol.

Edit: Sorry for the random rambling btw, I’ve been doing lots of character work with peeps recently and your point triggered some thoughts XD.

      1. Delinquent MCs are a shonen staple. And some tropes are forever golden.

        1. True. And not liking delinquent characters is okay!!! We need wrong opinions to have correct opinions!
