Circus is such a strange character lol. She’s scary as hell but then she gets genuinely disappointed that nobody screams at her. I can’t tell if that makes her less scary or more scary.

So is the island just permanently terraformed into a hellish nightmare? Or is this like some alternate realm only Nia, Lalo and Circus are in? Since your’e working a Yasha animation, I can’t help but wonder how NOPE it would be to animate this page 💀
those are great guesses! what i can say is nia and lalo won’t be the only ones that run into that tree, it’s here to stay lol. as for exactly what’s happening i think y’all will find it interesting 😛

How long have they been in here for her to look so tired? Was there a time jump or was it fatigue from running away from the monster? That’s pretty brave to try random wild food.
Hehe, longer than you’d think actually! That will be something that comes up. yeah she’s pretty fearless, she’s actually deliberately built up tolerance to many toxins exploring/studying many of the plants/animals on this island over the years.
not to say that she’d like be invincible if she ate some sort of toxic substance in here though…cause who knows what kind of logic whereever they are plays by! but ya gotta eat eventually 🙂
