Thanks dude!! It was fun plopping that in. And haha, yes! I’m really excited for the next Paradise or Else animation(s). Recently we’ve had at least 6 voice actors/actresses reach out cause of the instagram animation reels! It’d be so dope if we can start working with them, hell might turn into a bigger/longer term thing 🙂
A handful of them have even freakin’ voiced in anime I’ve seen!! A true wut moment LMAO. So many talented and cool people out there.

Glad to hear dude! This episode is actually near it’s end, I really like the changes I’ve made. I think you’ll all see soon where I’m going with them. Also a few moments from last time are still coming, but yeah it’s drastically different now haha.
Yup! Very close actually to our finale only a couple updates. Gonna start a summer break after that to focus lots of webcomic host launching stuff, and animation :D. Also gotta update Yasha’s new skin tone and convert the CH 1 panels to webtoon style. Exciting times can’t wait dude!
Unfortunately no gorilla fight! Something with that spirit/energy is coming later now in the InBetween, but there is a ‘VS a gargatuan’ action scene coming soon to cap the Episode 😉
Haha, Nia is just very tall, a little more than 6 ft! She’s only a little less than a year older than Yasha! Right now Nia’s 20 and Yasha’s 19 and going to be 20 in a couple days too. Fun fact this story will eventually have a 5 year time skip too 😀

Yosh! Yuri haha. I can confirm so there’s no baiting here, this story will have canonical wlw relationships among other important relationships. Even though I’d say this story is more so focused on being a crazy globe trotting adventure first and foremost.
To your point though, Yasha and Nia is that they’ve already been a thing briefly actually! Don’t get me wrong she’s still kind of awkward and inexperiecned but Yasha being a bit nervous here is actually a little misleading and unusual for her and Nia. She’s crossed emotional lines with Nia already and has kissed her already. But now they’re in a weird space after Nia kind of slowly drifted away from Yasha for a bit. And now they’re still incredibly close but it’s more nebulous what they are exactly!
Can’t wait to show y’all more of their dynamic, I think it’s interesting and developes into something deep by the end of the story. There’s also one more really important person to Yasha that’ll come into this story next Episode who along with Nia probably bring the most developed (and crazy lol) parts of this story, I think! Interpersonal drama and cartoon/anime zaniness in equal helpings to come! Sorry for blabbering, but I love when y’all give me excuses to elaborate on things like this hehe. Helps me sort out ideas too!

Gonna invoke stuff like Windwaker and Dungeon Meshi at least that’s my goal. I also recently watched this movie Hundreds of Beavers with my brother lmao, and I got some zany inspiration from that too for a few sequences (miiinus the part where the MC mauls hundreds of anthromorphic beavers XD).

I’m also bringing in Mina next arc at the end of it, instead of Nusa arc. I found a way to make it make sense why she’d go to Yasha’s island hehe. Her time tower will be there! 🙂
YESS Watch it bro!! And Very true about Nia, but honestly as much as Yasha loves to impress Nia, that specifically has never stopped Yasha from hunting if the chief’s asked for it though lmao (but the villages food/agriculture has changed in recent years so they don’t hunt as much).
Also if somethings or someone’s like a huge prolific threat that won’t go down, Yasha doesn’t care she won’t hold her punches. But in general, her first option will be to knock you out before just blasting a hole through you. She hasn’t really encountered a dangerous person or animal that would force her to not hold back…yet!
Thanks!!! I just hyperfocus on each step at a time. Usually a major step each day for an hour or two at a time. The most crucial having some sort of base ref. Whether that’s a 3D model for the body and/or a predrawn character expression I’ve already completed as a stock to reuse.
The cool thing is so many of my characters have similar faces so I can reuse similar face angles for reference if the 3D models face isn’t expressive enough already.
And also some character panels I get cel shading help from my hyper talented girlfriend!! Glad my crazy experimenting has paid off :). At this point I just want to get faster haha.

I spend 99% of my internet social time lurking or commenting discord/instagram so it was needed xD. AND On top of that I was getting some scammer impersonating people I know trying to fish stuff from me lmao.
But May has been super fantastic for me and I’ve come back to all the dope servers I was in. All y’all are so cool glad to be back to hang out :D.

Hm. Not to alarm anyone, but Sin could easily be in trouble. This looks like a shonen world filled with large beasts among the normal relatable animals! Little things often mean the world to kids, it can be hard to find the line between reasonable safety boundaries and paranoia! But looks like everyone came out happy~

Very astute point about kids and safety! Can be hard to know if you’re parenting right or being overbearing. Yasha is basically Lalo’s main guardian really even though she’s her sister.
