Author Notes: Hey guys! Early upload because might be busy this weekend /w some other work as well as getting other mirrors of this story ready! It’s also because I want to move updates to Fridays. I’ll reiterate some news from last update in case people missed it!
I’m going to add a fanart and credits page to the site! There’s wonderful friends, family, and talented people I’ve commissioned that have helped in small and large ways on my comics. Feel pretty bad that I haven’t consistent given props to them whenever they help on a model or drawing such (even though they often say I don’t have to!).
My dream is to make serious indie games/animations with a small group of people as a studio, but my webcomics specifically will always be free silly stuff out there for everyone forever! Even if that’s the case for the webcomics, I don’t want to act like some stupid CEO taking all the credit haha.
Also! BIG news. Live Yasha’s going to have two “sister” comics coming to their own websites and webtoons/tapas/drunk duck/global comics and a few other places soon! With a flat colored aesthetic to save me time lol. But they both take place in the Live Yasha world. The protags are…different than Yasha in many ways haha, but pretty likeable if you ask me! I will keep you all updated when they upload still going to take at a bit to get decent buffers for them ๐

Thanks man! I have really cut checking in on time wasting sites and bad habits lately. Also just getting more sleep which helps with focus lol. Hoping to keep up a schedule until Episode 1 ends!
Haha! Thanks. But there’s a few boring secrets to that xD.
1st I made this page a while ago lol. I wish I could make stuff in a week with my schedule. And then also the backgrounds are heavily assisted by Sketchup! Though still a lot of post fix and drawing usually.
And for the characters I often like to say I’ve evolved past relying on 3D for character art (which I mostly have) but I still use 3D models as a drawing reference base most of the time. And also I use programs like Moho character rigging/layering sometimes too to save even more time. Can switch out a similar pose for a character and alter certain layers like legs/arms etc. This helps both with time and consistency, since me drawing a lot of these characters for unique poses can take upwards to an hour otherwise (I’m always trying to get that clean anime like aesthetic, lineart takes forever)! Though the moho reuse can mess with my resolution/line art consistency on some panels when I resize smh. Working on that lol.
But yeah despite all this it’s still a lot of drawing and work. Which is why I like to have buffer these days XD. Webtoons and webcomic people in general are quite simply passionate art BEASTS, especially those who don’t use as many shortcuts as me haha.
Edit: Also my gf and friend often help with zanier expressions and coloring some days!
BRO it’s going fantastic. I’m sooo hyped. It’s really surreal to make something and have help when I’m stuck. We’re really getting lots of modules done pretty fast. I can’t wait to show y’all more :D. Especially when we do the final graphics overhaul.
And no the game still needs more time for sure lol. The comic will be out before it for sure! Can’t wait to show y’all more. It’s set in Yasha’s world but quite different haha, none of the main characters have powers. And it’s reminiscent of Harvest Moon + Dungeon Meshi.
Thanks man!! The game is centered a lot of the restaurant and some RPG elements. The comic does the same, but other things happen with that plot too. I hope I surprise y’all, keeping both ’em close to chest for a bit haha. My other one shot is likely to come out first, which I’m gonna keep a complete mystery :D.
