I actually have a few live streams I want to post to my youtube one day but I often heavily reuse my character face ref sheets, and 3D blender models as a base to help draw my characters, it really saves a lot of time especially for the main characters because I basically have most of their models “animation ready” in terms of detail and consistentcy! But I can construct them like this from scratch too (it just takes a while if the pose is more amibtious).
I’ve got a lot of self learned practice with anatomy, I think the biggest thing is obviously learning the major components of the body but after that knowing the proportions, distance and weight distributation of different common poses. Not gonna lie it’s very hard lol, but very rewarding and your muscle memory gets better as long as you scrutanize and constantly check your drawings as you draw them. A good excerise is using something like pose maniacs and finding a pose and trying to draw it after a glance to the best of your ability. Comparing it after and then seeing what your bad habits are and fixing them and referencing images of the human muscles/skeleton/etc.
That sounds like a lot but you can get good VERY fast if you are just honest with what your mistakes are! If you’re not honest it can be a bit of spinning your wheels haha (if your goal is realistic anatomy ofc).
Here’s a quick ballerina pose sketch I just did just making a stick figure and then sketching off memory. I used to suck shit at this LMAO. Now I’m iight (honestly there’s still mistakes here haha), but im good enough to sketch a competent base for most situations. Give me a blender model on top of that and it’s a cake walk :P.
Btw along with another update coming soon, I will be releasing a full webtoon panel style update of all the previous episodes! I’ve updated the panels to be be more varied, updated Yasha’s skin tone, and combined a lot of the episodes to be 100+ panels each. I’ll release that same time as the next update most likely :). Usually if the MC is special or secretly the chosen one, the villain would shocked. But she’s laughing her butt off. I don’t know if that’s good or bad!
Yoo thanks!! I use sketchup for backgrounds and a hodge podge of drawing in Clip Studio, Blender, and Moho for the characters! Help the most when I have characters with very detailed 2D esque models :). Then it’s just a matter of tweaking a few things to look less clunky.
Yeah you said it, she’s honestly one of my more insidious villains despite the tone of this story being lighter compared to some others haha. Can’t wait to yall what insanity comes in this version 🙂

Action city!! Just to manage expectations though while action starts next page, most of it is some Nia/Yasha stuff ;D. There’s a pretty interesting dynamic/tension between them if I do say myself that I wanted to solidify more.
Yeah, I’m just about done with that, pretty surreal. On the last stretch of pages, will update for y’all. It’s 99% just updating Yasha’s skin tone and changing the panel shapes haha. Though I’ve added a few new panels/tweaks too :).
Two years ago definitely, but today all I can say is Yasha is asking the same question xD. Lots going through both their minds despite them seeming pretty cordial on this page.
We will go through a nice montage of their history and then a bit of a mixed emotion interaction between them next page. I’m pretty excited to show y’all!

Yeah! For that first link you sent sites just a bit clunky to use, gonna pass on that and for other reasons. The second one I’ve heard of Inkstra actually there’s already some peeps I know putting stuff there. Third one I totally forgot about spiderforrest haha, those collective sites are badass but I try to stay away from anything that’s looking for a vibe or curation since my stuff changes genres every 3 minutes :P.
I’ll likely post on Inkstra eventually if I feel like it after I plop my stuff on bunch of other hosts. It’s all on the list, just a super busy (and hot) summer XD. Man there’s some talented devs spinning up cool art/game sites lately!
Btw that reminds me, I’m focusing on getting my video game company going right now but one day I might make a comic host too lmao. For shits and giggles hobby site, it looks like it’d be a fun project to stretch my web dev muscles. Especially adding fancy carousels and netflix like catalogue UI. Would also be a good challenge to try to make it as like egalitarian as I can in terms of displaying everyone’s comics.
She is! I can say this iteration of this story will be Circus at her creepiest. In fact, what I can say is the main thing that kicks off Yasha’s quest is coming soon and it’s low key ambiguous horror vibes haha! I wanted to have this story have lots of interesting characters and colorful adventurous whimsy/comedy and romance… but also this time around lean into some dark fairy tale horror elements and make the vibe a little more mysterious and vague at times. Kind of like Promised Neverland, I feel the stakes will be the highest this time around.
I really can’t wait to show y’all that shift! Downside is I had to cut out an epic fight between Yasha and Circus, upside is I think I’ve made the strongest hook for this story yet not to toot my own horn hehe. We’ll see in a few pages! Thank you so much for reading Shaun!!

Yoo thanks!! I use sketchup for backgrounds and a hodge podge of drawing in Clip Studio, Blender, and Moho for the characters! Help the most when I have characters with very detailed 2D esque models :). Then it’s just a matter of tweaking a few things to look less clunky.

Yeah! For that first link you sent sites just a bit clunky to use, gonna pass on that and for other reasons. The second one I’ve heard of Inkstra actually there’s already some peeps I know putting stuff there. Third one I totally forgot about spiderforrest haha, those collective sites are badass but I try to stay away from anything that’s looking for a vibe or curation since my stuff changes genres every 3 minutes :P.
I’ll likely post on Inkstra eventually if I feel like it after I plop my stuff on bunch of other hosts. It’s all on the list, just a super busy (and hot) summer XD. Man there’s some talented devs spinning up cool art/game sites lately!
Btw that reminds me, I’m focusing on getting my video game company going right now but one day I might make a comic host too lmao. For shits and giggles hobby site, it looks like it’d be a fun project to stretch my web dev muscles. Especially adding fancy carousels and netflix like catalogue UI. Would also be a good challenge to try to make it as like egalitarian as I can in terms of displaying everyone’s comics.

She is! I can say this iteration of this story will be Circus at her creepiest. In fact, what I can say is the main thing that kicks off Yasha’s quest is coming soon and it’s low key ambiguous horror vibes haha! I wanted to have this story have lots of interesting characters and colorful adventurous whimsy/comedy and romance… but also this time around lean into some dark fairy tale horror elements and make the vibe a little more mysterious and vague at times. Kind of like Promised Neverland, I feel the stakes will be the highest this time around.
I really can’t wait to show y’all that shift! Downside is I had to cut out an epic fight between Yasha and Circus, upside is I think I’ve made the strongest hook for this story yet not to toot my own horn hehe. We’ll see in a few pages! Thank you so much for reading Shaun!!
