WTF was that WIP in the discord, btw. That is a sick merperson design. And it’s interesting you’re bringing back Henry earlier in the story. But why are they talking about social constructs . Is it one of those merpeople fictional racism things like One Piece? Or they just waxing about social constructs 💀 I’m looking forward to that lol.

Nah tbh, some of my stories will definitely touch on racism and discrimination in some arcs but I try to avoid that with magical non human creatures as a proxy. Just a personal choice, I do like what One Piece did with fishmen though, it was interesting. Fictional discrimination is usually a trope I challenge myself to stick with the humans in the story like with the Aghimayan people in Final Paradise! (Aicha is one) .
