An interesting thing about their penalties is that they can expand how much their penalty limits are. Yasha and Sin both have expanded what they can tolerate quite a bit in terms of these power limits
The action and angles are great, I feel like I’m watching a TV show. Interesting Quinna called Sin pipsqueak, makes me wonder how tall everyone is. Good luck Nia and Gori, you very well need it.

Yeah those panels at the end with Gori kind of make Sin look big but Gori’s just back a couple of feet. Sin is not much taller than Yasha and Yasha is 5’5. Quinna’s 5’10 so decent height and Nia’s the tallest on this page 6’0 lol.

Yup! Or at least Sin assumes that’s the same case for Quinna. Yasha usually is out for a few minutes after overloading, she also loses all the energy she has stored up and is base level strength.
True, Nia and Gori should be fine…hopefully heh. another issue though is that Sin hitting his limit means he couldn’t completely tame the last animal he tamed, so he will lose control of it lol.
Oo those are good guesses about Quinna’s fruit there, I can say these last 2-3 pages will finish this scuffle and literally everyone here will be involved! Boy will it be exhausting probably taking a break once this encounter is over but I can’t wait to show y’all haha.

As thorny as Yasha can be at times, she would sympathize with underdogs going through it more often than not, for reasons we’ll see! But when Sin specifically has to deal with his eternal sadness penalty she’s straight up laughing at him since she knows its temporary 😂😂
Glad you think so! I really try to keep a lot of the power concepts in this story as simple and intuitive as possible haha.
As the story progressives there’s lots more mechanics to the systems but I’d just rather any depth be implied most of time or not explained much at all really. I like how Miyazaki does that in his movies there’s a bunch of dream like magic, he probably put some thought behind it, but we don’t need to get into the nitty gritty of it haha.
tbh it’s weird when I see absolutes about this kind of stuff, like never do this or that. I don’t mind things being a little on the nose either if it’s executed well. Some books or manga get that fetish for detail but express it in an interesting way/pace and I’m all for it haha. But I was feeling minimalistic for Live Yasha 😛
